Job summary

SambaSafety is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to drive AI-augmented analytics and trusted data foundations. You will build dashboards in Power BI and Looker, maintain AI-ready metadata, and collaborate with data engineering and data science to productionize forecasting and anomaly detection.

You’ll leverage AI tools daily to accelerate development and ensure explainable insights. The role blends traditional BI with AI-driven analytics, requiring strong SQL, Python, and governance

Qualifications

• Expert-level SQL across RDBMS
• 5+ years in data roles with BI exposure
• Experience with Modern Data Stack (Snowflake, Power BI, Looker) and ETL tools
• Hands-on with AI-assisted development tools in real workflows
• Familiarity with data governance and metadata tools

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-augmented dashboards and self-service analytics
• Use AI-assisted tools daily to accelerate SQL development and documentation
• Prototype GenAI use cases to reduce manual reporting
• Partner with data engineering/science to productionize forecasting and anomaly detection
• Write Python for advanced analysis and AI integration
• Maintain AI-ready metadata and semantic views for AI queries
• Guide engineering on Semantic Views for business terms
• Define and enforce data quality rules for trusted outputs
• Trace lineage from BI reports to Snowflake sources
