Job summary

BorgWarner in the United States is seeking an Automation Engineer to ideate, develop and deploy automation frameworks, tools and KPI dashboards in Power BI or similar, with AI-enabled workflows.

You will lead cross-functional initiatives, integrate data from Jira, Polarion, SharePoint/ShareDocs, Bitbucket, and other tools, and design scalable analytics models while ensuring governance and security. 4–6 years of dev experience required; Bachelor's in CS; salary range provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) required.
• 4–6 years of development experience.
• Strong enthusiasm for AI and automation.
• Proficient in Python, REST APIs, SQL, and data tooling.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform and AI services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ideate, develop and deploy automation frameworks, tools and processes.
• Develop KPI dashboards in Power BI or similar tools.
• Lead discovery initiatives for AI-enabled automations and workflows.
• Integrate data from Jira, Polarion, SharePoint/ShareDocs, Bitbucket into analytics models.
• Design and maintain executive, BU-level and project dashboards with drill-downs.
• Assist with AI model testing, validation and optimization.
• Collaborate across functions and support adoption with trainings and governance.
