Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an Application Remediation Governance professional in Denver to reduce technology risk by driving timely remediation of vulnerabilities, including AI-related threats. You will work with application managers and risk partners to align remediation with the Bank's risk appetite and oversee the ARG portfolio.

You will lead the ARG team, maintain BAU processes, and coordinate with CST on the SOR and risk metrics, providing timely, board-ready updates.

Qualifications

• 3+ years cyber security experience.
• Vulnerability and remediation experience.
• Ability to improve team processes to increase efficiency and coverage.
• Understanding of novel vulnerability vectors, primarily those aligned to AI capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Creates and maintains the team's application vulnerability portfolio.
• Forefront of the Bank's response to AI-identified vulnerabilities with understanding of LLM-based vulnerabilities and actions to minimize cyber risk.
• Overseeing ARG daily BAU activities and leading the ARG team, including proxy manager responsibilities.
• Maintain balanced workload by distributing vulnerabilities among team members.
• Configure the SOR for team portfolio visibility and alert timely actions (self-assignment of vulnerabilities).
• Escalation and representation of ARG on Incident calls related to application vulnerabilities (P1s).
• Owns ARG actions and collaboration, taking responsibility for issues.
• Works with CST tech teams to keep the SOR up to date and functional.
• Collaborates with CST on SOR enhancements.
• Represents ARG on tech calls, providing end user input and validation of break/fix activities.
• Manages ARG BAU process for unmasked corporate account details.
• Creates and maintains ARG team process and training documentation.
• Configures application access package for new ARG team members in ARM.
• Creates and QA monthly risk metrics for managers and board level.
• Trains and onboards new ARG team members.
