Job summary

Faraday Future in California seeks a Senior General Ledger Accountant to maintain GAAP-compliant financial reporting and support monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.

This role interfaces with multiple departments, coordinates with international teams for consolidations, and drives process improvements through automation while upholding SOX controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 5 years accounting experience in a similar role.
• Experience with month-end and quarter-end close processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar).
• Public company and SOX 404 experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and document journal entries and supporting documentation.
• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities.
• Collaborate with other departments to obtain information for accruals.
• Coordinate with international teams for monthly financial reporting and consolidations.
• Conduct quarterly financial statement flux analysis.
• Prepare account reconciliations in a timely manner.
• Liaise with internal and external audits for mid-year and year-end support.
• Improve accounting processes through automation and standardization.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

The Senior General Ledger Accountant is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the Company's general ledger and ensuring timely, accurate, and GAAP-compliant financial reporting. This role plays a key part in the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, supports SEC reporting, external audits, SOX compliance, and assists with implementing process improvements and automation initiatives. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically strong in U.S. GAAP, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications:
