Job summary

Parallel Wireless is building Open RAN software for next-generation cellular networks, emphasizing energy-efficient, carrier-grade 4G/5G solutions worldwide.

We seek a driven PHY SW Engineer to join our R&D team to advance performance, reliability and AI-driven development across the baseband software stack.

You will design, implement and optimize digital processing software, collaborate across teams and contribute to architecture decisions for green, scalable telecoms.

Qualifications

• 2 years of hands-on software development experience with a strong focus on C and object-oriented design.
• Excellent C skills and solid Python experience; familiarity with Git and CI/CD.
• Hands-on experience with agentic software development and LLM-based workflows; basic AI concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance digital processing software for the baseband modem.
• Optimize, debug, and root-cause complex real-time issues in carrier-grade systems.
• Integrate, test, and bring up software modules all the way into the product.
• Help shape software architecture for advanced cellular PHY solutions.
