Job summary

You.com is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer in San Francisco to bridge engineering and the developer community. You’ll build reference implementations, demos, and tooling that show developers how to get real outcomes from You.com APIs, while also explaining the value to CTOs.

You’ll contribute to open-source projects, speak at events, and help bring developer insights back into product decisions. The role blends hands-on engineering with developer advocacy.

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineer with fluency in AI and agent stack.
• Contributed to open source and/or organized hackathons, meetups, or talks.
• Able to communicate complex tech to non-technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Build reference implementations, demos, and tooling for You.com's APIs.
• Contribute to the open-source AI community on You.com's behalf.
• Represent You.com at hackathons, meetups, and panels (not weekly).
• Bring developer perspective back into product decisions and act quickly on feedback.
• Translate between deep technical details and business value for diverse audiences.
