Job summary

Addison Group in Dallas is seeking an AI Developer to join a newly formed AI/ML team. The role focuses on designing, prototyping, and deploying AI-enabled applications and intelligent agents, leveraging Azure, Databricks, Snowflake, and modern LLM tech.

The ideal candidate blends software and data engineering with enthusiasm for generative AI, is comfortable learning quickly, and can shape technical direction as the team evolves.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, engineering, mathematics, or related field.
• 2-4 years of experience developing and deploying software, data, AI, or ML apps in production.
• Strong Python skills with clean, tested code.
• Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, or equivalent cloud data platform.
• Experience with generative AI or large language model APIs.
• Understanding of software engineering practices (Git, testing, CI/CD).
• Ability to learn new frameworks quickly and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create and deploy AI-enabled applications using LLMs and modern AI platforms.
• Develop autonomous/multi-agent solutions using tools and multi-step tasks.
• Build agent-based workflows using Azure AI Foundry, Anthropic Claude, and similar frameworks.
• Connect Snowflake, Azure Databricks, and other data sources to AI apps.
• Develop reliable data pipelines using SQL, Python, and dbt.
• Implement retrieval-augmented generation for secure data access.
• Create automated evaluation/testing for model and agent performance and safety.
• Prototype emerging AI tools to assess business value.
• Translate ambiguous needs into prototypes and scalable production solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, IT, and business partners.
