Job summary

Fireworks AI is seeking a Developer Advocate to shape how developers build, fine-tune, and deploy frontier open models. You will ship developer-focused content, demos, and tutorials while representing Fireworks across communities.

The role blends hands-on engineering with public technical communication, requiring credibility in both code and presentations. You will influence standards and participate in events to grow Fireworks’ developer ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of combined engineering and developer-facing experience.
• Strong Python; comfortable in TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Built and deployed applications; able to review code samples.

Responsibilities

• Build things developers can run: publish runnable code, tutorials, and sample apps.
• Own the launch response with demos, benchmarks, and practical guides for new models/techniques.
• Show up where developers are: docs, blogs, cookbooks, and relevant community platforms.
• Speak, teach, and run the room: conference talks, workshops, and hands-on sessions.
• Be the developer's voice inside Fireworks: feedback loops to product/engineering with concrete evidence.
• Measure what you do: track content impact on signups, adoption, and momentum.
