Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an AI Forward Deployment Engineer to help clients understand and activate AI value. You will lead the end-to-end process from ideation to validated design, building MVPs and POCs that accelerate deal conversion.

The role blends AI technology, solution architecture, and business value in a fast-paced, hybrid environment. Responsibilities include building prototypes and reusable agent frameworks, driving PoCs across industries, and delivering client-ready content.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI agents and MVPs/POCs.
• Strong in prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and data integration.
• Proficiency with Python libraries and RESTful services.
• Experience with Docker-based deployments and GitHub workflows.
• Ability to translate business needs into AI architecture and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery sessions and identify high‑impact AI opportunities.
• Design AI solutions with LLMs, data sources, and integrations.
• Build prototypes, demos, and reusable agent blueprints.
• Engineer and validate AI agents for reliability, safety, and performance.
• Lead PoCs, pilots, and MVPs across industries.
• Create client-ready content including SoWs and architecture decks.
• Collaborate with sales, engineers, and partners to craft AI-led experiences.
• Ensure smooth handoff from sales to delivery and maintain alignment.
