Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an AI Delivery Engineer on the Developer Experience squad to translate ambiguous intent into production-ready outcomes. You will drive AI-enabled delivery, architect core workflows, and mentor team members to raise engineering standards.

You will own end-to-end work, design scalable backends, and supervise the use of AI to ship product while ensuring quality and appropriate tradeoffs across the platform.

Qualifications

• Shipped and supported software that real customers depend on.
• Demonstrated MCP server usage and orchestration workflows.
• Ability to move from ambiguous input to maintainable solutions in large codebases.

Responsibilities

• Own work end to end: from definition to design, build, iterate and long-term support.
• Design and ship backend systems, data models and agentic frameworks that scale.
• Use AI as the primary delivery tool for building product; guide output with engineering judgment.
• Look for ways to improve speed, cost efficiency and MCP adoption for a seamless platform.
• Set and reinforce engineering practices through code/spec reviews, testing standards, and decisions.
• Translate developer and business intent into technical solutions, surfacing tradeoffs and risks early.
• Mentor developers on the squad through feedback and technical guidance.
