Job summary

Intelletec Energy is seeking a skilled onsite escalation engineer to own physical layer issues in a fast-growing data center environment.

You will lead Tier 3 escalation for network and cabling, troubleshoot fiber faults, and validate post-repair connectivity and optical levels.

Qualifications

• Strong fiber and cabling experience (single-mode, multi-mode, standards).
• Experience with fiber tools (VFL, OTDR, power meters, fiber scopes).
• Basic network diagnostics (link status, light levels).
• Data center experience (3+ years).

Our client is a fast-growing hyperscale Data Center Operator building infrastructure to support top AI labs and enterprises.

What this role does:

Own onsite escalation for physical layer: network and structured cabling.

What You'll own:

• Tier 3 escalation for network + cabling issues
• Fiber troubleshooting (faults, transceivers, patch panels)
• Testing and validation (VFL, power meters, light levels)
• Structured cabling repairs and remediation
• Post-repair validation (LLDP, connectivity, optical levels)
• Documentation and escalation to network engineering

Must-have Experience:

• Strong Fiber and Cabling experience (single-mode, multi-mode, standards)

Nice to have:

• BICSI, CCNA, or similar certifications

Salary & Benefits:

• $150-200k base salary + meaningful equity.
