Job summary

Intelletec Energy seeks a DataCenter Critical Facility Lead to own the power, cooling, and critical infrastructure of a hyperscale data hall in the United States. You will manage escalations, risk, and uptime across complex facilities, including liquid cooling.

You will coordinate incident response with engineering SMEs, oversee colo partners, and support commissioning from L1 to L5 while driving reliability initiatives and capacity planning per TIA-942 and ASHRAE standards.

Qualifications

• Must have deep experience with generators, UPS, chillers and cooling systems.
• Strong understanding of redundancy models (2N, N+1, N+2, concurrent maintainability).
• Power/cooling capacity planning knowledge (TIA-942, ASHRAE).

Responsibilities

• Owns senior onsite control of power, cooling, and critical infrastructure.
• Escalation point for all facility-related incidents (power, cooling, building systems).
• Coordinate incident response with engineering SMEs.

Our client is a fast-growing hyperscale Data Center Operator building infrastructure to support top AI labs and enterprises.

DataCenter Critical Facility Lead

What this role does:

Senior-most onsite owner of power, cooling, and critical infrastructure (including liquid cooling). This person owns escalations, risk, and uptime across the facility

What they’ll own:

• Escalation point for all facility-related incidents (power, cooling, building systems)
• Incident response coordination with engineering SMEs
• Oversight of colo partners and maintenance quality
• Commissioning support (L1-L5) and ongoing reliability initiatives

Must-have background:

• Deep experience with generators, UPS, chillers, cooling systems, electrical distribution
• Strong understanding of redundancy models (2N, N+1, N+2, concurrent maintainability)
• Power/cooling capacity planning (TIA-942, ASHRAE)

Nice to have:

• Electrical/Mechanical certifications
• Experience working directly with colos and vendors
• Experience with data hall build-outs + commissioning influcence

Salary & Benefits

• $150-200k base salary + six figure equity grant
