Job summary

Corning Incorporated is seeking a motivated intern to develop expertise in software systems, databases, and artificial intelligence within the Corporate Services Technology Center in New York. You will join a dynamic team that enhances corporate technology solutions and supports Workplace Services across Engineering, Facilities, IT, and Real Estate.

You will explore AI tools, assist with data validation and reporting, and help maintain enterprise applications.

Qualifications

• On track for a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar technology area.
• Knowledgeable of artificial intelligence concepts.
• Understanding of software systems and databases.

Responsibilities

• AI & Automation: Support the exploration and deployment of AI-based tools to improve WPS processes and employee experience.
• Database & Data Support: Assist with data validation, data entry, and basic data analysis for internal business applications.
• Software Systems Support: Assist in administering and maintaining enterprise applications and workflow tools used across Workplace Services.
