Job summary

Qualifications

• Git or other version control experience.
• Interest in AI, Generative AI, or Agentic AI.
• Familiarity with IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience building apps that interact with APIs.
• Exposure to relational or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines or automation tools.
• Coursework or projects in AI, ML, semantic search, or vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AI-powered solutions using watsonx Orchestrate, knowledge bases, tools, skills, and MCP servers.
• Develop software using modern programming languages, primarily Python and TypeScript.
• Create AI agents that automate repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Build integrations using APIs, cloud services, and enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate with software engineers, architects, and AI practitioners to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Apply software development best practices, including source control, testing, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Explore emerging AI technologies and evaluate how they can be applied to real-world business challenges.
• Present your work, share ideas, and contribute to technical discussions within the team.
• Learn how software moves from concept through development, deployment, and production support.
