Cayuse Holdings seeks a Director of Data Science and AI to drive growth across key industries by shaping data-driven solutions and advising client accounts. You will lead the development of AI offerings, work with internal leaders, and advance strategic initiatives for market expansion.

The role emphasizes thought leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and responsible AI adoption. The position is primarily remote with occasional travel to client sites and Cayuse offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in data science, AI/ML, and technology strategy with leadership roles.
• Proven track record in leading or contributing to RFP/RFI responses for federal, state, local, and commercial clients.
• Established thought leadership in data science and AI through publications, speaking, or advisory roles.
• Strong understanding of federal AI policies, responsible AI, and regulatory considerations.
• Background check clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and proposal support for Data and AI initiatives.
• Create Data and AI content for RFPs/RFIs across government and commercial markets.
• Develop go-to-market materials highlighting Data and AI capabilities.
• Advise Cayuse business units and shape tailored Data and AI offerings.
• Identify opportunities where AI and automation improve internal processes.
