Qualifications

• Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Data Science, ML, AI, CS, Statistics or Applied Math.
• Strong Python programming and production‑quality DS experience.
• Experience with large-scale structured, semi-structured, or unstructured datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy ML, NLP, and generative AI solutions to help researchers discover and apply scientific knowledge.
• Build retrieval, search, recommendation, ranking, and QA systems to improve research outcomes.
• Connect information across publications, datasets, citations, knowledge graphs, and ontologies.
• Fine‑tune and integrate large language models and retrieval‑augmented generation into production environments.
• Create evaluation frameworks to measure quality, reliability, relevance, and user impact.
• Build scalable data pipelines and ML workflows for experimentation, monitoring, and improvement.
• Translate complex problems into data‑driven, measurable solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, UX, analytics, and domain experts.
• Contribute clean, production‑quality Python code and reusable AI components.
