Job summary

AtkinsRéalis seeks an AI & Data Science Specialist to join the Tallahassee team on a full-time basis at the FDOT client office. You will design, deploy, and optimize AI/ML solutions, build AI copilots and NLP tools, and develop dashboards using Power BI.

The role includes mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and cloud-based implementations in Azure/AWS. The ideal candidate holds a quantitative advanced degree with 5+ years of data science and ML experience, strong Python, and a proven

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, analytics, AI, or ML (4+ years with a Master's).
• Experience designing, building, and deploying AI/ML solutions in production.
• Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI tech.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Experience with databases, SQL, Power BI and/or Tableau, and cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
