Job summary

Vizient, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and enhance an AI-ready data enablement platform. You will work on cross-domain analytics, governed data products, and reusable engineering patterns.

Responsibilities include developing scalable solutions with Azure Databricks, improving metadata-driven patterns, and supporting data engineering standards aimed at delivering high-quality analytics. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience and strong technical skills in data engineering and governance.

Qualifications

• 5 or more years of hands-on data engineering experience building production-grade data platforms.
• Strong experience with Azure Databricks, PySpark, and SQL required.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Azure DevOps is a must.

Responsibilities

• Build and support scalable data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks.
• Develop reusable accelerators including CI/CD templates and deployment automation.
• Support Starburst/Trino as an analytical layer for governed data consumption.
