Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking an Application Engineer to develop secure, scalable data pipelines and AI-enabled tools that improve profitability, efficiency, and customer experience. You will refactor prototypes, productionalize solutions, and integrate APIs and MCPs while upholding security and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a tech field required or equivalent experience.
4+ years in application engineering, software development, or data engineering.
Proficiency in Python and SQL/BigQuery for data queries.
Experience designing, building, and deploying new apps from scratch.
Experience refactoring or modernizing code with AI-assisted tools.

Responsibilities

Develop, test, deploy, and maintain data pipelines and products.
Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and product managers in Agile delivery.
