Job summary

Fourways Consulting is seeking a visionary Technical Lead – AI / Data Engineering in Dallas, TX, to drive enterprise-scale GenAI and data platform initiatives in a hybrid environment (three days on-site). You will set technical direction, mentor teams, and deliver production-grade AI solutions that align with business goals.

You will architect and optimize big data pipelines using Python, SQL, AWS, and Databricks, and lead RAG frameworks, vector databases, and IaC with Terraform.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years in software/data engineering, cloud platforms, and technical architecture leadership.
• Proven track record in technical leadership, mentorship, and executive stakeholder management.
• Advanced programming in Python and strong SQL/database optimization expertise.
• Extensive hands-on AWS data/AI ecosystem experience, including AWS Bedrock.
• Hands-on architecture of enterprise data platforms and Databricks lakehouse.
• Proven experience in GenAI/LLMs and agentic AI frameworks.
• Hands-on RAG architectures and integration of enterprise vector databases.
• IaC with Terraform and automated CI/CD deployment workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end technical leadership and architectural governance for enterprise AI and big data initiatives.
• Architect and deploy production-grade GenAI/LLM and autonomous Agentic AI solutions.
• Design and implement high-performance RAG pipelines and vector search indexing.
• Build and optimize distributed data engineering pipelines and analytics lakehouses.
• Lead integration of GenAI foundation models and managed AI services on AWS Bedrock.
• Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning with Terraform across multi-tier AWS environments.
• Establish modern CI/CD pipelines, testing suites, and MLOps/LLMOps best practices.
• Engage with executives and cross-functional teams to define AI delivery roadmaps and communicate value.
