Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join our distributed AI team and build data pipelines powering model training and next‑generation products. You’ll develop large‑scale data-processing systems, improve data quality, throughput, and cost, and collaborate with AI scientists to enhance training datasets.

You’ll work with Python and Bash in Linux environments, own projects from discovery to delivery, and help scale data pipelines for a fast-growing, inclusive company that values

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience building and operating production systems, ideally with data pipelines or large-scale data processing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

• Discover new sources of audio data and build reliable pipelines to incorporate them into training datasets.
• Build and improve large-scale data-processing systems, optimizing data quality, throughput, and cost.
• Collaborate with AI scientists to improve training datasets and support model development.
• Take ownership of projects from problem discovery through implementation and ongoing improvement.
