Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Software Engineer - AI Data to join its distributed AI team. You’ll build data pipelines powering model training and future AI products, handling petabyte-scale datasets, and collaborating with AI scientists to improve training data.

You will own data-processing projects from problem discovery through implementation, with emphasis on data quality, throughput, and cost. The role offers remote work and impactful, fast-growing tech.

Qualifications

• Requires degree or equivalent practical experience in CS or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend focus.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash in Linux environments.
• Experience with data pipelines or large-scale data processing is a plus.

• Build and maintain large-scale data-processing pipelines for training data.
• Collaborate with AI scientists to improve training datasets and model development.
