Job summary

Google LLC in Seattle seeks a Data Engineer to guide customers in ingesting, storing, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data on Google Cloud Platform. You will lead migrations, architect scalable pipelines, and partner with clients to implement Cloud products.

The role focuses on delivering production-grade data solutions and collaborating with Google Cloud customers and teams to enable scalable analytics and AI initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with data processing software (e.g., Spark, Beam) and algorithms.
• Experience managing client-facing projects and collaborating with Engineering and Sales Services teams.
• Experience with database administration or data engineering, and writing software in Java, Python, or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and solve complex Big Data and AI challenges.
• Create and deliver best practice recommendations, tutorials, sample code, and technical presentations for varied stakeholders.
• Analyze on-premises and cloud database environments and advise on performance and deployment on Google Cloud Platform.
• Travel regularly up to 30% of the time for meetings, technical reviews, and onsite delivery activities.
• Communicate effectively via video conferencing for meetings and reviews.
