Job summary

Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Data Center AI Pre and Post Silicon Power Lead to define and validate power targets across IP, SoC, card, and rack levels. You will set up validation plans, drive optimizations, and ensure silicon and system meet power efficiency goals.

You will work with architecture, design, emulation, firmware, and software teams to bring AI accelerators from planning to first silicon, validating power and performance on real workloads and critical AI tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering or related field with 10+ years of ASIC design/verification/validation experience
• Master's degree in Science/Engineering or related field with 9+ years of ASIC design/verification/validation experience
• PhD in Science/Engineering or related field with 8+ years of ASIC design/verification/validation experience

Responsibilities

• Characterize Data Center workloads on system to inform pre-Si modeling and projection
• Define end-to-end power analysis plans for complex Datacenter AI systems
• Debug issues during pre-silicon, bring-up, validation, and production phases of SOC programs
• Define an optimization strategy delivering world-class datacenter AI efficiency
• Lead cross-team test approaches and track execution for power-optimized features
• Collaborate with design, architecture, emulation, firmware, DV, and software to ensure readiness for first silicon
• Develop knowledge of AI infrastructure, SoC system architecture, benchmarking, and power reduction methods
• Drive innovations to enhance system power validation tools and methodologies
