SK hynix America is seeking a Sr. Manager, AI DC Open Innovation Strategist to lead the design and execution of an AI data center testbed and open-innovation program from San Jose, CA.

This senior role will partner with infrastructure, system integrators, and software vendors to create integrated AI datacenter offerings. The ideal candidate brings 12+ years in partnerships within datacenter or AI domains, strong executive relationship skills, and a track record of building ecosystems that align

Qualifications

• 12 years in business development, strategic partnerships, or ecosystem management within datacenter, cloud infrastructure, semiconductor, or AI industries.
• Proven track record establishing complex partnerships with technology vendors and system integrators.
• Deep understanding of AI datacenter architecture across infrastructure, hardware, and software layers.
• Strong network in the technology ecosystem with experience in partner database management and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Launch and manage the Open Innovation Program to accelerate AI datacenter innovation and partnership development
• Identify, evaluate, and establish strategic partnerships across infrastructure, hardware, and software
• Infrastructure: cooling, power, DCIM technologies
• Hardware: system integration, servers, storage, network/interconnect, memory
• Software: GPU orchestration, virtualization, AIOps
• Build and expand industry networks using partner databases and proactive market intelligence, with clear prioritization based on technical roadmap and business impact
• Drive joint solution development and manage partnership negotiations, contracts, and long‑term alliances
• Develop C-level relationships and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership on ecosystem gaps and market opportunities
