Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data quality and analytics engineer to help prepare AI-ready data, ensure quality and governance, and partner with data engineering and governance teams. The role emphasizes data readiness, metadata, and accuracy across AI systems.

The candidate should have strong SQL skills, experience with both structured and unstructured data, and be able to communicate data concepts to non-technical stakeholders. This position focuses on data quality, governance, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data analysis, analytics engineering, or data quality roles.
• Understanding of data quality principles and downstream impact of poor data.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data (tables, files, documents).
• Proficient in SQL and able to investigate data issues.
• Familiar with data governance fundamentals (classification, access, retention).
• Strong communication skills enabling explanations to non-technical stakeholders.

• Proficiency in SQL and comfort investigating data issues.
• Familiarity with data governance fundamentals (classification, access controls, ownership, retention).
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain data concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
