Nakupuna Consulting is seeking an AI Data Analyst with Artificial Intelligence experience to join our team of consultants providing professional services to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) Information Technology Directorate. The Data Analyst will work directly with DPAA’s Chief Information Officer (CIO) to effectively transform raw data into meaningful insights, shaping business decisions thereby supporting strategic initiatives for the client. Utilizing business intelligence tools, the Data Analyst will consolidate data, build data models, and present findings in compelling ways. In addition, the Data Analyst will provide the customer training and guidance around selecting AI technology tools and implementing AI technology. This role will also require general oversight of compliance needs across the customer’s IT Division: thus, experience with analyzing datasets for anomaly detection, fraud detection, and risk assessments are highly desirable. The best candidate for this role will be capable of polished, confident, and effective communication with executive level customers, as well as be someone who can self-organize, follow-through, and report on multiple parallel work streams.

Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in a technical major from an accredited institution as well as a minimum of (6) six years of relevant professional experience. Equivalent years of related work or military experience in lieu of degree will also be considered.
A background in finance, accounting, or auditing with CPA certification or equivalent experience in compliance-focused data analytics.

Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain Top-Secret level security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Work Locations: Client site is in Crystal City, Virginia. This role requires four days per week onsite. Travel to Honolulu, Hawaii may be required approximately one week per year.
