Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a hybrid technologist to blend full‑stack development with advanced penetration testing and AI‑powered security automation. The role focuses on building and operating an AI harness (FedCyber.ai) to scan code for vulnerabilities across languages and frameworks.

You will lead penetration testing engagements, integrate AI insights into CI/CD, and collaborate with DevSecOps teams to embed secure coding practices. Onsite work in the DC Metro area is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in Cybersecurity, Software Development, AI/ML, DevSecOps, Cloud Computing, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience in penetration testing and offensive security practices.
• Knowledge of OWASP, cloud security, containers, supply-chain risks, SAST/DAST/SCA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute penetration testing engagements on web apps, APIs, cloud services, and infrastructure.
• Perform threat modeling, exploit development, and red-team style assessments.
• Validate AI-generated findings with manual analysis and offensive techniques.
• Develop testing scripts, harnesses, and tooling for complex systems.
• Collaborate with developers and teams to prioritize fixes and advise on secure design patterns.
• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
