You will lead audits, coach staff, and collaborate with engineers, security professionals, and technology executives in a hybrid Reston/DC setting, overseeing risk and controls in rapidly evolving tech domains.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in IT Audit, IT Risk Management, Information Security, or closely related technology risk disciplines.
• Experience leading complex, technically focused IT audits within a large, complex organization.
• Deep technical knowledge in cybersecurity, AI, cloud infrastructure, or information security.
• Ability to engage with engineers, security professionals, architects, and technology leaders at a high level.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lead, and execute complex internal IT audits from risk assessment to reporting.
• Perform hands-on technical testing and analysis alongside audit teams.
• Conduct technical walkthroughs with engineering, cybersecurity, and cloud teams.
• Develop audit objectives, testing strategies, and work programs; communicate findings to management.
• Coach and mentor audit staff; use data analytics and automation to improve quality and efficiency.
