Job summary

Fluidstack is seeking a Capacity Planner to model IT and hardware capacity across the fulfillment pipeline, reconcile demand against orders, inventory and lead times, and flag gaps before they hit the schedule.

You will build automated capacity views, chase discrepancies, and translate analysis into actionable buying and deployment decisions. Proficiency with SQL, spreadsheets, and Python is a plus, with ERP data experience a bonus.

Qualifications

• Capacity, demand, or supply planning for hardware-heavy operations.
• Models built in SQL or spreadsheets that survive messy source data.
• Numbers tie out or you know exactly why not.
• Translate analysis into action: order now, shift that, elevate this.
• Automate data refreshes rather than rebuilding by hand.
• Bonus: Data center or hardware supply chains.

Responsibilities

• Model IT and hardware capacity across the pipeline and determine needs.
• Reconcile demand against orders, inventory, and lead times, flag gaps.
• Build capacity views and procurement runbooks that refresh automatically.
• Chase discrepancies to ground: a miscounted rack becomes a missed energization.
