Job summary

Fractile is seeking an Engineering Manager for Compilers to lead a 10+ person team building the compiler stack for our AI accelerator hardware. You will influence IR design, lowering strategies, and the execution model, coordinating with hardware, kernel, runtime, and ML researchers.

The role requires strong leadership, compiler expertise, and a track record of shipping high-performance software. You will drive architectural decisions, hire top engineers, and ensure delivery of industry-leading

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leadership experience managing a high-performance development team.
• Proven experience in compiler development, with MLIR or TVM as a significant advantage.
• Up-to-date knowledge of machine learning techniques and technologies.
• A good understanding of computer architecture and performance optimisation techniques.
• Excellent C/C++ skills and experience with standard development tools.
• Creative, innovative mindset with ownership mentality in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a 10+ engineer compiler team for Fractile's AI accelerator stack.
• Shape architecture of the compiler from first principles, working with hardware and runtime teams.
• Define IR design, lowering strategy, and execution model before silicon is available.
• Hire, mentor, and grow engineers to deliver world-class compiler performance.
