Job summary

Astrik Marketplace, Inc. is seeking an AI Chatbot & Assistant Integration Engineer to design and implement an AI-powered assistant for a multi-tenant SaaS platform.

You will integrate with APIs, databases, and product docs, while ensuring secure access, data isolation, and scalable performance. You will collaborate with product, engineering, QA, and business teams to plan, test, and deploy workflows that recognize intents, retrieve information, summarize data, and perform approved actions with

Qualifications

• Experience building AI assistants, chatbots, or enterprise automation tools.
• Strong understanding of large language models, prompt engineering, RAG, embeddings, and function calling.
• Experience with enterprise SaaS, ERP, HRMS, CRM, finance or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS, RBAC, secure data handling, and permission-based retrieval.
• Backend integration skills and API-driven architecture.

AI Chatbot & Assistant Integration Engineer

• Building AI assistants, conversational agents, RAG-based systems, and secure enterprise integrations.
• Design and implement an AI-powered assistant for a multi-tenant enterprise SaaS application.
• Enable natural-language interaction through both text and voice commands.
• Integrate the assistant with product documentation, company-specific information, application APIs, relational databases, and structured business data.
• Build reliable workflows for intent recognition, retrieval-augmented generation, function calling, and task execution.
• Ensure the assistant can answer product-related questions, guide users through workflows, retrieve authorized information, and execute approved system actions.
• Implement strict permission checks based on tenant, company, role, and user-level access rights.
• Maintain data isolation, privacy, security, and auditability across all assistant interactions.
• Design safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, incorrect actions, data leakage, or hallucinated responses.
• Optimize the assistant for accuracy, scalability, response time, and operational cost.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable AI models, frameworks, vector databases, voice technologies, and infrastructure components.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, QA, and business teams throughout the planning, implementation, testing, and deployment process.
• Create technical documentation for assistant architecture, data flows, integrations, permissions, and operational handling.

Requirements:

• Practical experience building AI assistants, conversational applications, chatbots, AI agents, or enterprise automation tools.
• Strong understanding of large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, embeddings, vector databases, and function calling.
• Experience working with enterprise SaaS, ERP, HRMS, CRM, finance, help desk, or workflow management platforms.
• Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise applications, APIs, relational databases, and business workflows.
• Knowledge of multi‑tenant SaaS architecture, role‑based access control, secure data handling, and permission‑based information retrieval.
• Experience designing AI workflows that can retrieve information, summarize data, guide users, and perform system actions.
• Familiarity with speech‑to‑text and text‑to‑speech technologies.
• Ability to evaluate, select, and implement the most suitable technologies and architecture for the assistant.
• Strong backend integration skills and understanding of API‑driven application architecture.
• Experience building secure, scalable, production‑ready AI solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, technical ownership, and attention to detail.
