  • Conduct research and analysis supporting strategic initiatives.

Skills & Competencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interest in the intersection of business strategy, technology and AI; and how AI can be used responsibly in a business environment
  • Familiarity with AI tools and interest in applying them to real-world business challenges
  • Some exposure to coding, AI platforms, or data tools - willingness to learn counts
  • Comfortable with data and using it to tell a story; interest and/or experience in building dashboards and visualizations a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Education

Work with the CAO’s Chief of Staff to deliver high-quality strategic, operational, and AI-driven work across a dynamic range of enterprise priorities.

  • Create polished executive communications, memos, and event briefs for senior leaders
  • Use AI tools to build smarter workflows and improve how work gets done across the CAO office
  • Build dashboards and reports that help senior leaders make informed decisions
  • Spot opportunities to simplify work, solve problems, and strengthen day-to-day operations
  • Support high-priority events, from briefing prep to post-event follow-up
  • Conduct research and analysis that supports strategic initiatives and leadership priorities
  • Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
  • Collaborate with teams and leaders on high-impact projects across Moody’s
About the Team

The Office of the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) sits at the center of Moody’s, bringing together technology, cybersecurity, risk, resilience, and global operations to help move the business forward.As an intern, you’ll work on meaningful projects, gain exposure to senior leaders, and build skills at the intersection of business strategy, AI, and enterprise transformation.

Moody's 10-week summer internship program is a premier opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a hands‑on learning experience, guided by Moody's commitment to integrity, excellence, and insight.The program takes place each summer from June – August and positions are available for undergraduate and select graduate students. Internships are full‑time, offering a comprehensive view of Moody's business and culture, and a chance to build professional and technical skills.Programmatic elements include networking, mentorship, leadership speaker series and volunteering events. Interns complete project work determined by their team that have real impact, fostering a sense of accomplishment and professional growth. Throughout the internship, participants receive mentorship from Moody's professionals, gaining insights into diverse career paths and cultivate a comprehensive understanding of the company. Networking events and workshops further enrich the experience, providing a platform for professional development and collaboration.As a Moody's intern, you will gain real‑world experience, turn inputs into actions, and be integral part of the team.


For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring hourly wage for this position is $35/hr.
