Job summary

Fannie Mae is seeking an Associate on the Collateral Strategy & Innovation team to modernize collateral and valuation capabilities using BI, automation, and AI. You will work with business and technical partners to translate needs into practical tech-enabled solutions.

You will help build dashboards and reports, support automated workflows, and explore AI-driven improvements across collateral processes, reporting, and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to develop practical solutions.
• Experience using data, reporting, BI, or technology tools to address business needs.
• Demonstrated technical curiosity and ability to quickly learn new tools and processes.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Use BI tools to explore data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
• Develop and enhance dashboards, reports, and automated workflows using Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
• Explore AI, automation, and emerging technologies to improve processes and productivity.
• Gather and document business needs and support testing and implementation of capabilities.
• Analyze processes to identify opportunities for simplification and efficiency.
• Support prototypes and proofs of concept for new ideas and technology solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Technology, Risk, Policy, Operations on cross-functional initiatives.
• Develop knowledge of collateral and valuation processes to inform BI solutions.
