Job summary

ISAT Total Support seeks an AI Solutions Specialist in La Mirada, CA to drive AI automation and workflow improvements. You will act as the technical resource for automation, designing, configuring, testing, and deploying automated workflows with Microsoft Power Automate and other platforms, and collaborate with the software team for Nexus development.

Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interview staff, facilitate workshops, and deliver engaging training.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to simplify complex business processes into scalable automation solutions.
Strong process documentation skills, including workflow diagrams, process maps, and business requirements.
Experience with Microsoft Power Automate, Power Platform, or similar workflow automation technologies.
Experience designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining workflow automations.
Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and prompt engineering concepts.
General technical aptitude with the ability to distinguish between workflow automation opportunities and custom software development needs.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum two years of experience in automation, business analysis, process improvement, software support, or a related technical role (or equivalent experience).
Working knowledge of Responsible AI principles, data privacy, and information security.
Comfortable working in an iterative development environment using continuous improvement methodologies.

Responsibilities

Meet regularly with staff across ISAT, CEAS, and Tomarco to understand workflows and opportunities for AI and automation.
Document current processes, pain points, and desired outcomes.
Analyze and prioritize automation opportunities based on value, effort, and impact.
Translate business needs into functional requirements for automation or Nexus development.
Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, acceptance criteria, sample data, and testing scenarios.
Design, configure, implement, test, deploy, and maintain automated workflows using Power Automate and other platforms.
Build, configure, test, and refine prompts, AI agents, workflow automations, and configurations.
Continuously optimize deployed automations for usability, efficiency and value.
Own automation initiatives from intake to deployment, documentation and ongoing support.
Identify automation requests that require custom programming or advanced integration within NEXUS.
Coordinate with Software Development to translate requirements into specs.
Coordinate project priorities with stakeholders and development resources.
Participate in design reviews and ensure functionality meets objectives.
Coordinate UAT, validate functionality, document issues, and support production rollout.
Develop and deliver training programs for AI tools and workflows.
Create user guides, quick-reference docs, videos, and knowledge articles.
Serve as first point of contact for staff questions on AI automation.
Gather feedback and identify enhancement opportunities for future work.
Promote AI adoption by showing practical business applications.
Monitor adoption, performance and impact of automations.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Keep automation docs and training materials current.
Maintain backlog of enhancement requests.
Stay current on Microsoft Power Platform, AI tech, and best practices.
Design, deploy, and maintain automations in compliance with AI Usage Policy.
Ensure AI-generated content has human review before use.
Maintain manual fallbacks for critical automations.
Monitor accuracy and elevate issues when required.
Evaluate emerging AI tools and platforms for practical use.
Recommend applications aligned with objectives and policy.
Support long-term AI adoption strategy through learning and innovation.
