Job summary

Ericsson Inc. in Plano, TX, is seeking a Cloud AI Engineer Intern to join the BOS ADM teams. You will develop automation scripts in Python, use internal GenAI tools, and support non-functional testing for cloud-based rApp projects.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
Proficiency in Python scripting, including data manipulation and automation.
Familiarity with JSON/YAML for cloud configuration and data exchange.
Solid understanding of AI/ML concepts and the ML lifecycle.
Knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic AI frameworks is a plus.
Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible, Robot Framework, or RPA tools is an advantage.
Exposure to REST APIs and scripting in Bash or PowerShell is a plus.

Responsibilities

Develop automation scripts in Python to interact with cloud-based systems in Ericsson environment.
Leverage GenAI tools to design and implement agent-based automation solutions.
Create and optimize cloud automation workflows for tasks like catalog comparisons across clouds and environment variable checks.
Generate installation JSON configurations from topology diagrams using GenAI for parsing.
Develop tools to create topology PowerPoint presentations from JSON files.
Enhance JSON generation tools for cloud configuration and deployment.
Document automation processes and best practices for maintainability.
Participate in team meetings to improve cloud automation strategies.
Analyze non-functional requirements and assist in scripting performance tests.
