Job summary

Veeam Software in the United States is seeking an AI & Automation Engineering Intern for a hands-on, build-focused summer role. You will prototype AI-assisted tools and automation to scale impact within a small team, delivering running solutions after the program ends.

The internship emphasizes practical AI exposure, collaboration with team leads, and presenting findings to CoE leadership, with a June–August 2027 schedule and a $20–$25 hourly pay range.

Qualifications

• Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor's degree or graduate student in a technical field.
• Hands-on Python experience via coursework or projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with APIs, scripting and connecting systems together.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and test AI-driven tools, agents, and workflow automations.
• Partner with team leads to identify repetitive work and automate it.
• Build automation around internal feedback loops for faster information flow.
• Evaluate AI platforms and tools and recommend where they add value.
• Document and hand off what you build for ongoing maintenance.
• Present work, results, and recommendations to CoE leadership.
