Relm Insurance Ltd. is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to build, deploy and scale AI-powered solutions across our business.

This role sits at the intersection of technology, operations and business, collaborating with Underwriting, Claims, Product and Operations to turn real problems into practical AI outcomes. You’ll own projects from discovery through production, shipping reliable AI solutions, and continuously improving outputs with a hands-on, problem‑solving mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience building and deploying AI-powered workflows, agents or automation solutions.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern AI tools and large language models.
• Confidence working with APIs, JSON, webhooks, integrations, logs and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to understand why something isn’t behaving as expected.
• Experience testing AI outputs for accuracy, reliability and consistency.
• Ability to translate business problems into practical AI solutions.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Curious, experimental mindset with a genuine interest in building with AI.
• Ability to work independently and own projects from discovery to production.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and deploy AI agents, automations and workflows across the business.
• Translate business problems into practical technical solutions using AI tools, APIs and integrations.
• Own solutions once they go live, monitoring performance and debugging issues.
• Collaborate with teams to identify where AI can remove friction and improve processes.
• Design testing and evaluation processes to ensure AI outputs are accurate and safe.
• Create human-in-the-loop controls for higher-risk workflows.
• Develop reusable AI workflows and components that scale.
• Stay updated with new models and tooling and vet potential value.
• Feed production learnings into Relm’s AI roadmap.
