Google is seeking an AI and Automation Solutions Architect for Finance Operations in Chicago. You will design and deploy AI-driven, scalable automation workflows, prototype rapidly with AI-assisted development, and collaborate across Product, Engineering, and Finance to re-engineer complex processes.

The role emphasizes an AI-first mindset, data governance, and the ability to operate with independence while driving adoption of AI at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Operations, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in Engineering, Product Management, Technical Project Management, or a Finance Operations role, or 5 years of experience with an advanced degree.
• Experience designing, building or deploying functional apps/workflows utilizing LLMs and GenAI Agents.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, test, and deploy AI-driven solutions that replace manual workflows with intelligent, scalable automation.
• Prototype using AI-assisted development (vibe coding) and low-code solutions to prove value quickly.
• Bridge gaps across Product, Engineering, and Finance to productionize prototypes into enterprise-grade systems.
• Establish a future-proof FinOps architecture with data governance and scalability, working with key engineering teams.
