West Monroe is seeking a Software Engineer for the AI Assets Foundry Team in Los Angeles. The role focuses on building reusable, secure AI-enabled applications and platform components in collaboration with product owners, designers and governance teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in full-stack development or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Proficiency in OO concepts, software design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with APIs, databases, frontend/backend, and source control practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, deploy, and support full-stack software features and reusable asset components.
• Implement Generative AI-enabled capabilities within software products (APIs, prompt workflows, retrieval-augmented generation).
• Translate requirements into clean, secure code in collaboration with product owners and engineers.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to iterative delivery and retrospectives.
• Follow architecture patterns, coding standards, security practices, and responsible AI guidelines.
