Job summary

Boosta's Honeytech project seeks an AI Artist | 2D Illustrator to join a fast-growing webcomics platform. This remote freelance role focuses on creating high-quality AI-generated static visuals and maintaining visual consistency across episodes.

You'll work with Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, and advanced prompt engineering, refine work from feedback, organize prompts/assets, and help develop reusable visual solutions while exploring new tools to raise production quality.

Qualifications

• Experience with AI generators (Midjourney, Stable Diffusion) and prompt engineering.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for compositing and color correction.
• Understanding of composition, color theory, light and shadow fundamentals.
• Familiarity with graphics preparation pipeline for animation.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the Director’s Script and Creative Brief to understand the visual task.
• Create high-quality AI-generated static visuals (Static Shots) using approved tools.
• Ensure shot-to-shot visual consistency across episodes (character styles, environments, lighting).
• Refine materials based on feedback from the Creative Producer.
• Prepare the final package of static materials for handover to Animation Production.

As an AI Artist | 2D Illustrator, your challenges will include:

• Analyzing the Director’s Script and Creative Brief to clearly understand the visual task.
• Creating high-quality AI-generated static visual materials (Static Shots) using approved tools.
• Ensuring shot-to-shot visual consistency within an episode, including the consistency of character styles, environments, objects, composition, color palette, and lighting.
• Refining materials based on feedback from the Creative Producer.
• Preparing the final package of static materials for handover to the Animation Production stage.
• Organizing source materials, prompts, and working files according to internal standards.
• Developing the internal prompt library and reusable visual solutions.
• Continuously researching and proposing new tools and approaches to improve product quality and optimize processes.

We are looking for a specialist who :

• Has a deep understanding of and hands-on experience with AI generators such as Midjourney, Stable Diffusion, etc.
• Has advanced Prompt Engineering skills.
• Has confident proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, including compositing, color correction, and fixing generative artifacts.
• Has knowledge of composition, color theory, light, and shadow fundamentals.
• Understands the graphics preparation pipeline for further animation.
