Job summary

Accenture is seeking a senior architect to own the AI-native architecture for enterprise engagements and serve as the primary technical contact for the client’s architecture group. You will lead the engineering team, shape methodologies, and drive design authority across a portfolio of AI-enabled engagements.

The role emphasizes delivering credible AI-native transformations, with travel up to 0–100% depending on client needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience building enterprise systems, with at least 1–2 years working with AI/LLM systems in production or production-like contexts.
• Minimum of 2 years designing AI-native or AI-adjacent architectures — event-driven, distributed, or data-intensive systems count.
• Minimum of 3 years leading an engineering team, including at least 1 year managing the unique challenges of AI development.
• Minimum of 1 year translating between AI capabilities and business value for executive audiences.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience working in agile engineering or consulting teams.
• AI-adjacent experience counts toward the bars above: strong credentials in the neighboring discipline combined with 1–2 years of hands-on LLM work is exactly the profile we grow.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate's Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience).

Responsibilities

• Own the architecture for a single engagement: design authority on the AI-native foundation, primary technical contact for the client's architecture group, leading the engineering team that builds it.
• As you progress within Accenture you hold design authority across a portfolio of engagements and help shape the methodology and reference patterns (Agent Framework Design, Multi-Model Orchestration, AI Guardrail Design).
• Guide productization of architectural patterns and evolving viewpoints as new frontiers emerge.
• Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements.
