Job summary

Goldstonepartners is seeking a senior AI architect to set the direction for enterprise AI across the organization. You will design standards and guardrails to keep AI solutions secure, HIPAA-compliant, and clinically valuable, drawing on 10+ years in architecture and deep Azure AI experience.

You will mentor teams, drive platform decisions for Azure AI and Databricks, and create accelerators while embedding PHI/PII safeguards and responsible AI practices into the SDLC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/health informatics or related field.
• 10+ years in software or solution architecture, 5+ years in AI/ML.
• 2+ years leading enterprise AI architecture or platform initiatives.
• Hands-on with Azure AI Foundry and OpenAI/Anthropic models.
• Healthcare domain experience and HIPAA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise AI architecture and governance for the EHR platform.
• Define reference patterns and blueprints for LLMs, RAG, ML, and AI services.
• Lead platform decisions for Azure AI, Databricks, and data orchestration.
• Create reusable accelerators like starter kits and prompt libraries.
• Embed HIPAA safeguards into SDLC and CI/CD gates.
• Set responsible AI release criteria and run risk assessments and policy updates.
• Mentor engineers on Azure AI Foundry, Copilot, and architecture records.

As the newest member of our AI Engineering team, you'll set the direction for how AI gets built and governed across the organization. You'll design the standards and guardrails that keep our solutions secure, HIPAA-compliant, and focused on real clinical value. With 10+ years in architecture and deep Azure AI experience, you see the big picture and trust our Lead AI Software Engineers to handle the details. Spend your days:

• Owning enterprise AI architecture and governance for our EHR platform, giving product teams a healthcare-grade foundation to build on
• Defining reference patterns and solution blueprints for LLM applications, RAG, classical ML, and AI-enabled services
• Leading platform and tooling decisions for Azure AI, Databricks, and data orchestration
• Creating reusable accelerators like a RAG starter kit, evaluation harness, and prompt library
• Embedding HIPAA-aligned PHI/PII safeguards into the SDLC and CI/CD gates
• Setting responsible AI release criteria, from bias and fairness evaluations to model cards and red-teaming
• Running the AI architecture review process and partnering with security and compliance on risk assessments and policy updates
• Advising engineering teams on prompt design, grounding strategies, and the modernization of legacy code
• Mentoring developers on Azure AI Foundry and the secure use of Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot, and publishing architecture decision records

Show us your:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Health Informatics, or a related field
• 10+ years in software or solution architecture, including 5+ years in AI/ML systems and 2+ years leading enterprise AI architecture or platform initiatives
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry and OpenAI or Anthropic models, from fine-tuning and deploying generative models to integrating AI into .NET applications
• Healthcare domain experience - claims processing or revenue cycle management or experience in a regulated environment
• Solid understanding of HIPAA, PHI/PII handling, and responsible AI practices
• Refined communication and documentation skills - you thrive in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
