Brooksource is seeking a senior Solution/Cloud Architect to lead AI and Generative AI initiatives in a large healthcare-related enterprise. You will design end-to-end Azure-based architectures, collaborate across AI enablement, EA, engineering, and business teams, and drive scalable, secure solutions.

This fully remote contract role emphasizes hands-on PoCs and cross-team guidance. The ideal candidate has deep AI architecture experience, strong communication, and a track record delivering

Qualifications

• Deep AI and Generative AI architecture knowledge.

Responsabilités

• Design end-to-end AI and Generative AI solution architectures on Azure.
• Collaborate with AI enablement, EA, engineering, and business teams to translate use cases into designs.
• Evaluate Azure services, patterns, and integrations.
• Develop or contribute to PoCs to validate new AI capabilities.
• Provide hands-on guidance to engineering during implementation.
• Support multiple AI and enterprise tech workstreams in parallel.
• Review vendor architectures and provide technical direction.
• Ensure alignment with security, scalability, and integration standards.
• Communicate designs clearly to technical teams and leadership.

Contract: 6 months with potential for extension or conversion

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Design end-to-end solution architectures for AI and Generative AI initiatives using Microsoft Azure
• Partner with AI enablement, Enterprise Architecture, engineering, and business teams to translate use cases into scalable technical designs
• Evaluate architecture options and recommend appropriate Azure services, patterns, and integrations
• Develop or contribute directly to proofs of concept to validate new AI capabilities
• Provide hands-on technical guidance to engineering and development teams throughout implementation
• Support multiple AI-related workstreams and enterprise technology initiatives simultaneously
• Review vendor-proposed architectures and provide technical direction and oversight
• Ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, security, scalability, and integration standards
• Communicate technical designs and recommendations clearly to both technical teams and leadership

WHAT YOU BRING

• Extensive experience as a Solution Architect, Cloud Architect, or Enterprise Architect
• Deep understanding of AI, Generative AI, and modern AI application architecture
• Experience designing AI solutions from both an architecture and development perspective
• Ability to work hands-on, including building or supporting technical proofs of concept
• Strong understanding of cloud-native architecture, APIs, integrations, and distributed application design
• Ability to work directly with developers and engineering teams, not just at a conceptual level
• Experience managing multiple architecture initiatives or workstreams in a complex enterprise environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact across architecture, engineering, and business teams
• Previous experience within healthcare, health insurance, or payer environments (preferred)
• Experience supporting claims, clinical, or healthcare operations systems (preferred)
• Experience implementing AI solutions within highly regulated enterprise environments (preferred)
• Familiarity with Azure AI services and Microsoft’s broader AI ecosystem (preferred)
• Experience working within or alongside an Enterprise Architecture organization (preferred)
