Job summary

Goldstone Partners, LLC is seeking a senior AI Architect to own enterprise AI architecture and governance for our healthcare EHR platform. You will define patterns for LLMs, RAG, and AI-enabled services, and lead platform decisions for Azure AI and Databricks.

You will embed HIPAA safeguards, drive responsible AI practices, and mentor teams while architecting scalable, compliant solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Health Informatics, or related field.
• 10+ years in software or solution architecture, including 5+ years in AI/ML systems and 2+ years leading enterprise AI architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry and OpenAI or Anthropic models, including fine-tuning and deployment in .NET apps.
• Healthcare domain experience in claims processing or revenue cycle management, in regulated environments.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA, PHI/PII handling, and responsible AI practices.
• Refined communication and documentation skills; thrive in cross-functional teams.
• Coaching others and building shared knowledge across teams.
• Intellectual curiosity and focus on cost-effective, scalable AI solutions.
• Outcome-focused, results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise AI architecture and governance for the EHR platform.
• Define reference patterns and blueprints for LLM apps, RAG, ML, and AI-enabled services.
• Lead platform decisions for Azure AI, Databricks, and data orchestration.
• Create reusable accelerators like a RAG starter kit and prompt library.
• Embed HIPAA-aligned safeguards into SDLC and CI/CD gates.
• Set release criteria including bias evaluations and model cards.
• Run AI architecture reviews and partner with security on risk assessments.
• Advise engineering on prompt design and modernization of legacy code.
• Mentor developers on Azure AI Foundry and Copilot usage; publish architecture decisions.

• Owning enterprise AI architecture and governance for our EHR platform, giving product teams a healthcare-grade foundation to build on
• Defining reference patterns and solution blueprints for LLM applications, RAG, classical ML, and AI-enabled services
• Leading platform and tooling decisions for Azure AI, Databricks, and data orchestration
• Creating reusable accelerators like a RAG starter kit, evaluation harness, and prompt library
• Embedding HIPAA-aligned PHI/PII safeguards into the SDLC and CI/CD gates
• Setting responsible AI release criteria, from bias and fairness evaluations to model cards and red-teaming
• Running the AI architecture review process and partnering with security and compliance on risk assessments and policy updates
• Advising engineering teams on prompt design, grounding strategies, and the modernization of legacy code
• Mentoring developers on Azure AI Foundry and the secure use of Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot, and publishing architecture decision records
