Job summary

Goldstone Partners, Inc. is seeking an AI Engineering leader to set enterprise AI architecture and governance for our EHR platform. You will design standards, guardrails, and blueprints for LLM, RAG, ML, and AI-enabled services while guiding Azure AI, Databricks, and data orchestration choices.

You will mentor teams, embed HIPAA safeguards in the SDLC, and define release criteria and risk assessments. A strong background in healthcare AI and collaborative leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Health Informatics or related field.
• 10+ years in software/solution architecture, including 5+ years in AI/ML systems and 2+ years leading enterprise AI architecture.
• Hands-on with Azure AI Foundry and OpenAI or Anthropic models, deploying generative models in .NET apps.
• Healthcare domain experience - claims processing or revenue cycle management or in a regulated environment.
• Solid understanding of HIPAA, PHI/PII handling, and responsible AI practices.
• Refined communication and documentation skills in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Passion for coaching others and building shared knowledge across teams.
• Intellectual curiosity and an outcome-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise AI architecture and governance for our EHR platform, giving product teams a healthcare-grade foundation to build on.
• Define reference patterns and solution blueprints for LLM applications, RAG, classical ML, and AI-enabled services.
• Lead platform and tooling decisions for Azure AI, Databricks, and data orchestration.
• Create reusable accelerators like a RAG starter kit, evaluation harness, and prompt library.
• Embed HIPAA-aligned PHI/PII safeguards into the SDLC and CI/CD gates.
• Set responsible AI release criteria, from bias and fairness evaluations to model cards and red-teaming.
• Run the AI architecture review process and partner with security and compliance on risk assessments and policy updates.
• Advise engineering teams on prompt design and modernization of legacy code.
• Mentor developers on Azure AI Foundry and secure use of Microsoft Copilot and GitHub Copilot, and publish architecture decision records.

As the newest member of our AI Engineering team, you'll set the direction for how AI gets built and governed across the organization. You'll design the standards and guardrails that keep our solutions secure, HIPAA-compliant, and focused on real clinical value. With 10+ years in architecture and deep Azure AI experience, you see the big picture and trust our Lead AI Software Engineers to handle the details.
