• Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or related field; Master’s preferred.

We are seeking anAI Architect SMEto provide enterprise-level leadership for FEMA’s AI strategy, responsible AI governance, and adoption of advanced ML and automation capabilities to support mission-critical operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee AI governance, model risk management, and compliance.
• Lead design of enterprise-scale AI platforms, data ecosystems, and MLOps.
• Advise leadership on emerging AI capabilities and strategic investments.
• Over 10 years of work experience with similar responsibilities.
• Expert-level AI/ML knowledge and cloud-native architecture.
• Deep familiarity with ethics, governance, and risk frameworks for AI.
• Ability to guide enterprise modernization efforts.

Education and Certification Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Statistics, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

• Ability to obtain Public Trust. Active Public Trust is preferred. FEMA Public Trust is highly preferred.
