Job summary

Delmar Nord is seeking an AI Architect to join the investment team in Boston, shaping the next-gen quant research platform. You will design and operate investment-facing AI agents and workflows, working directly with researchers and PMs to transform research into automated, scalable processes.

You’ll drive adoption of AI tooling, prototype production-ready solutions, and define guardrails on cost, data access, and scope, with huge autonomy to shape what gets built next in a firm already

Qualifications

• Strong Python fluency and modern tooling experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering production-grade software as an AI/soft­ware engineer.
• Experience building and operating AI/LLM-enabled tooling or agentic workflows in production.
• Experience partnering with quant researchers or portfolio managers.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate investment-facing AI agents, skills, and workflows that automate repeatable research and portfolio tasks.
• Drive adoption of the firm's AI tooling among researchers and PMs.
• Partner with PMs and researchers to fold autonomous work into the centralized platform.
• Embed within investment teams, translating investment intent into clear specs and MR-friendly requirements.
• Prototype, refine, and productionize AI-enabled workflows with high impact.
• Define and enforce guardrails around cost, data access, agent scope, and commit size.
• Measure and improve adoption, quality, and time-to-value across AI-enabled workflows.
