Job summary

Escape is seeking a Security Advocate to bridge security tech and engineering. You will champion best practices, promote the platform, and empower developers, security teams, and customers to adopt proactive security.

The role targets technical audiences—Security Engineers, AppSec teams, developers, researchers, and CISOs—and you will demystify complex issues, contribute to product visibility through talks, demos, content, and customer engagement, becoming Escape's security voice.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of cybersecurity, especially AppSec, offensive security, and pen testing.
• Ability to explain vulnerabilities and technical concepts clearly.
• Excellent communication to make security topics clear and engaging.
• Genuine interest in cybersecurity culture and community.
• Willingness to travel regularly for conferences and events.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a subject matter expert on application and cloud security at events.
• Create and deliver engaging content: blogs, videos, presentations, and docs.
• Work with customers to understand challenges and gather product feedback.
• Build relationships with developer, security, and DevSecOps communities.
• Stay informed on threats and best practices and share insights.
• Partner with Product, Sales, and Engineering to address customer needs.
