Job summary

Confiz Limited in Denver, CO is seeking an AI App Lead responsible for owning both architecture and hands-on delivery of AI-powered applications built on Databricks, Python, and React. You will set technical direction for a team of data, ML, and full-stack engineers while continuing to write production code.

You will design LLM, RAG, and agentic systems, expose them through Python services, and deliver them to users via React front ends.

Qualifications

• 10+ years software engineering with AI/ML production systems and hands-on delivery.
• Demonstrated experience leading engineers and setting technical direction while remaining hands-on.
• Advanced Python skills: production services, async programming, testing, packaging, and PySpark.

Responsibilities

• Leads end-to-end architecture of AI solutions, including LLMs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows.
• Designs and builds data and ML pipelines on Databricks using Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, MLflow, and related tools.
• Builds and reviews production Python services (FastAPI or similar) exposing models, retrieval, and agents via secure REST APIs.
• Architects React (TypeScript) front ends for AI experiences, including chat interfaces and streaming responses.
